As an ISACA member, you belong to a community of professionals that share mutual goals, interests and commitments. Becoming involved with your local chapter and attending ISACA events will allow you to make valuable connections with peers, share knowledge and discover new opportunities in your profession.
Our aim is to sponsor local educational seminars and workshops, conduct regular chapter meetings, and help to further promote and elevate the visibility of the IS audit, control, and security profession throughout the Greater St. Louis Area.

Bylaws widely vary from organization to organization, but generally cover topics such as the purpose of the organization, who are its members, how directors are elected, how meetings are conducted, and what officers the organization will have and a description of their duties. As a matter of good organizational governance, bylaws are regularly revisited to ensure they remain aligned to current best practices.
The Chapter Board has updated the current ISACA St Louis Chapter Bylaws (2015) to align with the current template provided by ISACA International – resulting in the ISACA St Louis Chapter Bylaws (2019). The 2019 revision has been unanimously approved by the Chapter Board as well as ISACA International. In order to become effective, the general chapter membership must ratify the updated bylaws.
An electronic ratification vote will be taken 10 days after the updated bylaws have been posted on the chapter’s website and sent to the entire chapter membership via email.
Dear fellow members,
During this holiday season, we are thankful for our chapter members and volunteers. We celebrate our success to date at the Top Golf kickoff social event, the student-focused round table discussion, and the highly rated cybersecurity and privacy presentation from David Hartley.
ISACA St. Louis has more great events on tap, literally and figuratively, including the free Holiday Social Event at Milo’s Tavern and Bocce Garden on December 12th and a cybersecurity presentation from ISACA International Board Director Gregory Touhill on January 15th.
Planning is nearly complete for a two-day CSX Penetration Testing Overview course in March 2019; however, your input is required to confirm sufficient interest and identify the best date. Please review the details here and respond accordingly.
Finally, Rebecca Harness represented our chapter at the ISACA Global Leadership Summit in Chicago and brought back important information concerning the future direction of ISACA International.
