Bylaws widely vary from organization to organization, but generally cover topics such as the purpose of the organization, who are its members, how directors are elected, how meetings are conducted, and what officers the organization will have and a description of their duties. As a matter of good organizational governance, bylaws are regularly revisited to ensure they remain aligned to current best practices.

The Chapter Board has updated the current ISACA St Louis Chapter Bylaws (2015)  to align with the current template provided by ISACA International – resulting in the ISACA St Louis Chapter Bylaws (2019). The 2019 revision has been  unanimously approved by the Chapter Board as well as ISACA International. In order to become effective, the general chapter membership must ratify the updated bylaws.

In addition to the results of email-based voting, a vote will be held during the Annual General Meeting on May 23rd at 5:30pm at the Axe House STL to satisfy parliamentary requirements for ratification.
