Dear fellow members,
As the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) continues to cause uncertainties, our focus is clear: It’s you – our members. You are our priority.
Our Chapter is truly fortunate to have a long history of strong leadership teams, including our new board. Our leadership team has positioned our chapter, and ultimately our profession in St. Louis, on solid ground. We have the resources and the expertise to successfully navigate the challenges ahead, and to continue to provide to you, our membership, the tools, resources, & education you expect from ISACA St. Louis.
We will be working hard to provide a full schedule in our upcoming 2020-2021 chapter year, continuing to build on our new approach focused on diversifying the format, date, time, and location of our events. While doing so, we will give constant thought to ISACA CEO David Samuelson’s direction:
Most of our decisions will be based on a simple question: Is it safe and healthy for our community? If not, then let’s find a new way to deliver what’s expected or postpone until we can be clear that it will be healthy and safe.
Please let us know if you have ideas to make the best of our shared struggle through this.
We are truly blessed with a passionate professional community here in St. Louis. Together, we will help our organization navigate these challenges, take precautions to keep our families and our communities safe, and continue to learn and connect.
Best wishes and good health to you and yours,
Adam M. Sommer
President
